How it works
1. Create your account
2. Connect your Slack workspace
3. Schedule your first Slack Coffee Chat
Once you have granted access to you workspace, you can create your first coffee chat in just 3 clicks:
- Select the date and time for the virtual coffee chat
- Select who you want to invite to the coffee chat (simply select a Slack channel and we will invite the channel member for you)
- Select how often you want the coffee chat to repeat
4. How it works
Once you have created your coffee chat, on the scheduled date and time, Coffee Chat will send messages to the people in the Slack channel that you selected.
The channel members will be grouped in pairs and will receive a invitation to schedule a virtual coffee chat. (if the numbers of members in the channel is odd, a group of 3 will be created)
5. You are all set!
Well done! You are all set to start your first Coffee Chat.
Note: Coffee Chat will not send any message without you permission.
The Coffee Chat app will send messages only if you have scheduled a recurring coffee meeting.
It will only send messages to the people in the Slack channel that you selected.
